FEATURES OF ADAPTIVE STRATEGIES OF FOREIGN MIGRANTS IN THE BORDER REGIONS OF RUSSIA

Migration has become an integral part of modern life. Due to political, socio-economic, environmental factors, migration flows are increasing every year. One the key areas research remains issues adaptation and integration migrants, since nature migrants depends on social development well-being both themselves host society. The purpose this article is study features adaptive strategies foreign in border regions Russia. paper presents a theoretical analysis processes, including eleven laws by E.G. Ravenstein approaches understanding processes acculturation migrants. results sociological conducted team Altai State University six Russia (Altai Territory, Tyva Republic, Khabarovsk Volgograd Region, Astrakhan Amur Region) analyzed. A total 449 were interviewed. data collected using questionnaire analyzed frequency linear regression methods. Based analyzes carried out, typology was obtained based their experience intentions. Three groups arriving have been identified - returnable, irrevocable transit. It noted that developing along path integration. obtained, five typical for Russia: full (knowledge Russian culture support intercultural contacts with community), intention (poor knowledge transit community migrants), separation threat lack assimilation benefit culture, but only cultural norms traditions, who came trade purchase goods).
